Williams Refrigeration recognises the increasing importance and need to safeguard our environment and to assist our clients in maintaining and selecting efficient and effective equipment.
We strive to enhance the duty of care and support we provide to end users in aspects such as cleaning, hygiene, PPM, energy consumption, acoustics and the whole life costs of the equipment, including safe and environmentally correct disposal.
Williams Refrigeration manufactures all cabinets, back bar and modular storage, blast chillers and bakery rooms using CFC free and HCFC free ODP zero PU foam insulation. We are also ablt to offer PIR fire rated panels on modular storage for added safeguard and insurance benefits.
All refrigerants offered by Williams compy with the latest legislation and environmental regulations. Currently R134a and R404a are is use, however in enhancing both performance, and environmental protection, we also offer a Glycol secondary refrigeration system for remote applications on positive temperature equipment.
Throughout the production and manufacturing process, we strive to minimise waste and its environmental impact re-using and recycling a number of raw materials entering the business, including:
- Metal - Via approved scrap metal merchants
- Plastics - Via the manufacturer/supplier for re-grading
- Timber - Pallets re-used and returned to the supplier
- Cardboard - Recycled
Waste chemicals and fluids are duly disposed of via approved and regulated contractors and Williams Refrigeration is registered as a licensed waste operator - thereby ensuring our standards and procedures follow industry best practice.
